SWCS News Spring 2017 In this issue: Message from President, Award Nomination Form, Soil Painting Order Form (Which is also downloadable from the Getting Crafty page of this website), Payroll Deduction Form and Member Info Form. The MT SWCS Chapter will be having a social and silent auction on June 13, 2017 in conjunction with the tour titled “Your Below Ground Livestock. A Soil Health Tour” at Norley Hall, Conrad, MT. A second event will be held in Glacier County and will be sponsored by the Blackfeet Natural Resources Conservation District (BNRCD) and the Blackfeet Tribe, titled “A Range Ramble” on June 15-16, 2017 in Browning, MT. This range tour will begin at the Blackfeet Community College at 8:30 AM.
This fall, MT SWCS has tentatively scheduled a bus tour to visit Dakota Research Farm in Pierre South Dakota and producers in Bismarck, North Dakota. Buses will leave from Billings, Mt. Tentative dates are September 12th, 13th, 14th. This opportunity will be offered to anyone in the state of Montana. Registration fees will apply. Mark your calendars and look for more details in the future.
